He explained how the UK’s large scale new build single housing modular sector needs a trailblazer, such as Top Hat, to be able to weather the current storm of economic volatility and demonstrate to the general public how it can be better than traditional build.
Whilst the benefits case has been well proven in the higher density, investor led, urban apartment market by the likes of Vision Modular / Tide Construction, the single housing market model remains elusive as an economic downturn has caused casualties across the industry’s supply chains.
