Cast CEO, Mark Farmer attended an event in Wolverhampton to help the West Midlands Mayor, Andy Street, to launch his new Plan For Growth. Mark is chairing a newly convened Future Homes Taskforce for the Combined Authority looking to see how the region can capitalise on its leadership position in manufacturing and brownfield regeneration to spearhead economic recovery post Covid. The taskforce will have a dual focus on increasing use of advanced and innovative methods of construction as well as decarbonising new homes and will be prioritising ways in which the public and private sectors can work together to transform the homebuilding indusry.
