On the site of a disused technical college, the redevelopment of the site has provided 533 beds across 4 blocks, situated around a central communal courtyard. Cast worked with the design team to make efficiencies in the planning approved design, adding 8 new bedrooms within the same footprint. The revised scheme was then submitted and approved in May 2019.

Cast negotiated and placed a demolition package, acting as EA and QS and then negotiated a D&B Contract with the main contractor, who commenced works in August 2019. Cast provided cost management, project management and Employer’s Agent services from demolition through to the final stages of the project with PC achieved in September 2021.
