Hotels. Leisure & Hospitality
IJM Land is an international property developer developing their final phase in the Royal Mint Gardens development located near and overlooking the iconic Tower Bridge.
Due to the location of the project, it presented unique constraints to overcome including, three railway lines passing through the site in an East-West orientation, Limited ground area on the site for the core locations and the structure of the new development due to the presence of an underground DLR pass, the need to accommodate and incorporate into the design an existing DLR tunnel smoke extract and fire escape route.
The project itself, will provide an aparthotel spanning 15 floors, offering 463 fully equipped rooms designed for both short and extended stays. Guests will also enjoy a rooftop bar with panoramic views of London and dining options accessible to residents and the public.
The hotel is leased by Staycity Group, one of Europe’s leading aparthotel operators, for a flagship of its Wilde brand.

Cast were Project Managers and Cost Consultants on the project tasked with procuring an early works contractor, a Main Contractor, negotiating the Agreement for Lease with the Hotel operator, managing the design and negotiating approvals from Network Rail and Transport for London.
